My Little Helper

I got just about all the help I could get in cleaning the bathroom. Brennden was watching me clean the other day and decided that he would like to help me out. After cleaning the mirror, I turned to put the cleaner back in the cupboard while Brennden grabbed the squirt bottle and recleaned the mirror for me. Then I poured cleaner in the toilet, turned to put that away, and Brennden flushed the kucky potty for me. At this time I finally decided that I needed to give Brennden something to do to actually help me. He wanted to clean the toilet with me, so I let him clean his potty which is much more sanitary since it gets cleaned every day. Never has it taken me so long to clean a bathroom.

I'm Sad :(

I know those of you who are already mothers have been through this and for those of you who are yet to become one, well you'll get the chance to.
I bought a book about facial expressions for Brennden and he loves it! And he found out how to use it against me. I put him down for a nap (which he didn't want to take) and he just kept crying hoping that I would come rescue him. I've been doing really well not going in and rocking him to sleep. That is, I was for a while at least, until he came up with a secret weapon so to speak. I hear him saying something while crying so I go up next to the door to listen, and he just about broke my heart. He was crying, "I'm sad!" It made me feel so bad that I went in and gave him loves and rocked him to sleep. Sometimes you just have to give in the that Mother's Instinct.

The Month of OUCH!! For Brennden

Within the last 30 days Brennden has managed to get 3 very big ouchs. First he got scratched on the face, then he ran into a table and got a big bump. Now he has managed to trip over a curb and face plant right into a tree leaving a big scratch on his forehead. Then on Friday he got cloncked on the head with his sippy cup right next to his scrape. Later that same night he smashed his left thumb in the drawer under his bed! Good thing kids get over things fast.

My job sucks...

So how many of you have been enjoying the weather lately? I know i have. Today I was working in a snow storm and I couldnt see more than about 100 feet. It dumped about 2 inches of snow in about 15 minutes. Since Friday I have worked only 16 hours due to the lovely weather, but to those of you who dont know how x-ray crews get paid I get paid ticket time (what I write down on the ticket is what I get paid) that is a good thing since I billed 22 hours on Friday, 8 on Saturday, and 22 again today with atleast 14 more tomorrow and possibly 8 more on top of that. Then on Wednsday I will get 8 to go to the dentist. Hopefully Thursday I will get to work a normal day to keep me from getting bored. So in a weeks time I will be getting paid for 88-96 hours and only working about 30 hours. Not bad for a job is it?
On a seperate un related note, I bought Fly boys the other day just to realize today I already have it, so if any of you want it you can have it first come first serve. It is widescreen.

7. We got in trouble by one of the Wheelers mexicans for playing at the old dairy

Brenndens Adventures

Last night i went to check on Brennden and found him sleeping in his Elmo chair. When i went in about two hours later he was waking up and trying to climb into his bed. This morning Brennden was doing his morning business and i came out to find a movie for him and i forgot about him in the bathroom. When i remembered i went back in to check on him and he had pooped on his potty, dumped it into the big potty and put his back together and was waiting for me to come get him down, what a sneaky little booger.

Baby

So we have a due date now, it is June 14th. The names we picked are Joshua Lane if its a boy and Charity Taylor if its a girl. The names are set in stone but according to Angie stones can be broken. Im routing for a girl and Angie want a boy. Brennden said he wanted both so lets see what happens.

Driving

I guess Heather will get a little taste of how it is to be on the road all the time. For those of you that dont know I drive 9 miles from Aztec to Bloomfield, then 107 miles to Montezuma Creek and then anywhere from 30 to 60 miles running around Montezuma Creek, that makes 131 to 146 miles, and that is only half way. So, by the end of the day if I havent gone anywhere else after work that is 262 to 292 miles a day. That makes 1310 to 1460 miles and thats just Monday to Friday. Saturdays I usually end up going to Bayfield for anywhere between 100 and 150 miles. Then if i go to Mom and Dads on Sunday which i usually do, it is another 65 miles. This makes for anywhere from 68120 to 76135 miles a year. And that doesnt include going to town to run errands and dates which can take up to another 100 miles a week for up to 5200 miles a year making 81335 miles.
Now comes the matter of fuel. I spend on average $68.00 Tuesday thru Friday, and usually $100.00 on Mondays and $60.00 every other week for fuel for my personal truck. On saturdays I usually put in $45.00. Which makes for $435.00 a week and $22,620 a year. Granted only $1,560 is paid for by myself, but you still get the point. Now comes the tires, since I have been doing this drive i have gone thru a set of tires, and that was only 5 months. so to put new tires on the truck it is about $800.00, so at 2 and a half sets a year that is $2000.00. And how is this all paid for? well i assume you see oil prices on the news, well lets see what my part is on keeping them up that high.
I charge $1.00 per mile and bill 1400 miles a week. I also charge $98.00 an hour for the first 40 hours and then $147.00 therafter. I work on average 80 hours a week for $9800.00. I also charge $0.17 per square inch of film, with about 750 square inches a day and 4500 square inches a week for a total of $765.00. so lets see what that adds up to, $11,965.00 per week and $622,180 a year. And people wonder why oil costs so much.

Boating

We discovered boating this summer! I think I went out just about every other weekend. We has such a blast that some of us even fell asleep.
