Chicken Chasers

Dustin has been helping some friends build a new chicken coop for the last couple of days. Today all of us went over. Brennden and Charity got to go inside the coop and chase the chickens. Brennden even caught two of them! I wish that I had taken my camera. It was great fun to watch them have so much fun. Now I have to go clean their shoes. They stink!

Whose Child Is This?

This is Charity eating ice cubes off the floor. Brennden has introduced her to them and now they both want ice every day. She doesn't like to use her hands because the ice is cold. Ha ha.

Fun at Our House

This is one of the many things in our house that the kids find fun to play with even though it is not a toy. I don't know why they like it, they need help to get out and sitting there stuck doesn't sound fun for me. What ever makes them happy though, right? Apparently it is fun enough for the cat to join in.

And this is me at 3 months. 1/3 of the way done! I've gotten bigger round faster, but I haven't really gained anywhere else so I think I can handle it.

Honest Scrap

I was tagged by Heather for the Honest Scrap. The rules are: Post 10 honest confessions about yourself, then tag 4 people to do the same.

1. I HATE TAKING SHOWERS. Dont get me wrong I like to be clean, I just dont like to get in the shower and have water all getting into my face.

2. I HATE TO SHAVE. Most of you probably knew this already, most of the time I only shave on Sunday mornings so I can look clean for church.

3. I HATE FACIAL HAIR. I know this will be a suprise to most of you, but the only reason I have any facial hair is because Angie makes me have it. Besides, it is itchy and not very comfortable and it tickles my lip.

4. I HATE RETARDS. No not the mentally challenged, I am talking about people who see a $300.00 price tag on a gun at the gun shows knowing I only mark up my guns 10% and say "Ill give to $200.00 right now" Well, lets take a look at the price break down. Tax is 7.5625%, or $21.09. My markup is 10% or $25.36, thus making the wholesale price that I as a dealer paid is $253.55. It makes me want to jump over the table and strangle them.

5. I HAVE ANGER ISSUES. Those of you who read number 4 or grew up in the same house as me already knew this. I can usually keep it under control, but on occasion I lose it, and when I do watch out.

6. I LOVE TO WORK. No not the dishes either, I am talking about my job. I love what I do for a living, when I can actually work that is.

7. I HATE OUR GOVERNMENT. I think that our government has very few responsibilities, they are to 1. Protect us (armed forces and police) 2. Educate us (k-12) 3. Build and maintain roads 4. Protect our natural resources (no not like the sierra thugs or the green freaks, more like game and fish and the energy and natural resources department) 5. Limited regulations on various industries. Everything else should be handled by the private sector, and if people are to stupid to realize when someone rips them off or gives them a bad mortgage I think they should have paid more attention in school.

8. I HATE GUN LAWS. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Well I think that one has done gone out the window already. I believe that we as the American people have the right to keep any firearm that our military does. Besides who is going to keep our govenment in check when it comes time to take up arms agains them and they have us out gunned? I do however agree with laws that keep felons and wife beaters from owning guns.

9. I HATE OUR TAX SYSTEM. I dont feel it is fair that a person who works hard and betters themselves owe our government more that the guy who never works and is on welfare his whole life. I feel that we do not need to give more to taxes then we do to God. I would love to see a tax system that is a flat sales tax so you only get taxed when you buy something. No more IRS.

10. I HATE PETS. I love outside cats, but im not to big of a fan of inside pets. I hate the smell of litter, letting pets outside, cleaning floors. You name it I hate it.

I tag DIXIE, MOM, TIFF and MIKE.

This Week

This week many a thing has happened. Charity has not only learned how to climb onto the counter, but also on to the four foot tall dressers! AHHH! All that while being incredibly sick. She has been throwing up for four days now and I hope today will be different. But we will have to wait and see. She woke up at 7:30 and fell back asleep at 9:00 so she is still feeling yucky. :( I've done so much laundry that I know our water bill is going to be huge! And the smell in our house is just -blah- I wish we could open a window but it's too cold.

Brennden has been a snot running around not listening to a thing I have to say. He has lost almost every toy that he owns. He even lost his door knob because he kept locking me out of his room when I was getting mad at him. He told me, "Mom, if you just ask nicely instead of being mean I would listen." Oh my. He also told me the other day. "When I get bigger, my butt will be big like yours." What a nice thing to say.

I got to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time yesterday! The kids got a kick out of it and tried talking into the machine to the baby. It was really cute.

Our cat Peanut got into a good fight and his face is so swollen he can barely open his eyes. I feel bad for him.

Its been a pretty busy week so far and we still have a few days to go. Hopefully I can survive the rest of it.

Trouble

This is were I found Charity today. I knew she was in the kitchen but had no idea that this is what I would find when it got too quiet. I didn't know that she had figured out how to stack things to climb on. I had better start keeping a closer eye on her.

What A Night

While I was playing cars with Brennden Charity was playing with cars and a wire basket by herself. (She usually prefers to play alone.) Before I know it she is letting out this ear piercing scream. I look over and there is blood all over her hand and all in her mouth. I ran and snatched her up, ran to the closet for a wash rag, and ran to the bathroom. I was trying to wash her mouth but it wouldn't stop bleeding so I put the wash rag in her mouth and washed of her and my hand. The wash rag absorbed enough blood for me to see that she had cut her lip. Poor girl. Why do mouth cuts bleed so bad?! With the help of the wash rag I was able to finally stop the bleeding. I was wondering if it was ever going to stop or if I was going to have to make a run to Urgent Care and get her stitches. Gosh! I got her calmed down and gave her some medicine and a drink of water and after that she was good as new. After I got the blood out of the sink and out of the carpet you would never have known that anything had happened; well, her lip is doubled on one side, but other than that... Now I need to crash on the couch because my heart is still pounding out of my chest.
