Glasses!

Brennden has glasses and he LOVES them! We found out 2 weeks ago that Brennden is very far sighted. The doctor gave us a pamphlet explaining a little more about it. We found out that the headaches he frequents are a 'side effect'. It also said the concentrating on things up close, like the paper on on his desk at school. would make him agitated. We hope the glasses will help him calm down at school. His teacher hopes so to. :)

Brennden had to show off his glasses in a photo. Of course he has to do some sort of dorky pose. The glasses are blue, his favorite color. He is also wearing his blue school shirt that he just has to wear every Friday to show school spirit. He is adamant about wearing it.

We have already noticed the difference in his vision. I'm so glad that we found out so soon and that he is so excited about them. Now we are crossing our fingers that he doesn't break them.

What's Been Going On

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. And people have been getting after me, so I am now posting.



Dalin is still a smiley boy. He loves to sit up all the time. He's almost getting up on his hands and knees.



Dalin has been starting to eat baby food. I can't believe he is that big already.



He likes most everything he has tried; peas, green beans, bananas, squash, sweet potatoes, peaches, apples... The only thing he doesn't like is cereal. He makes the funniest faces and then spits it all out. I have to mix it with other foods to get him to eat it.



It has snowed a few times here and the kids LOVE it. Of course Dalin can't really go play in it but it does intrigue him. I think it's because the light reflects off of it.



Brennden enjoyed playing in it. He would drive his trucks around in it to make tracks. Here he is doing his posing for the camera like always.



Charity would stay out all day if I let her. I have to drag her in after an hour because it is so could.



I made a snow angel and she wanted to try too. It surprised me. She made five or six on them. I had to drag her in to warm her up afterward.

Little Photographer

Brennden is always getting my camera and taking hundreds, and I do mean hundreds, of photos with it. It makes me mad because I have to go back and delete them and my battery goes kaput fast. So we got Brennden his own camera for Christmas.



Brennden and Charity both love it.



For $20 I don't think it does that bad. It even has 2 games on it.



The first day he maxed out the photo capacity of 400! And today the batteries are dead.



Now I have to go through his camera and delete all the nonsense photos he has taken.



These are the good ones. Most of them are of him taking a step, and then taking a photo, taking another step, and taking a photo....



Both Brennden and Charity love to look at pictures, take pictures, and have pictures taken of them.



Only time will tell if Dalin will be the same.



For now, I'm just glad that my camera is no longer getting lost by the kids.
