So Tired

Yesterday Brennden would not let Charity sleep. So ate about 4:00 this is how I found her. I don't know how she did it, but I definitely know that she had to be extremely tired to fall asleep like this.

Pretties

Charity has been trying to take out my earings and putting them in her ears so we decided to take her out last night and get her ears pierced. She cried for all of ten seconds (big crocodile tear cry) until she saw the earings and then she was happy. We has purple studs because they are her birth stone. And just to make sure that she was not going to be mad at us for hurting her ears we took her shoe shopping. Nothing gets to her heart like shoes, she is definitely my girl. We all needed new shoes anyways. I can't believe that she already wanted earings. She loves jewelry and shoes, and to get dressed up in her dresses. She just might be one expensive girl.

Kids Will Be Kids

This post is going to be completely random in order so bare with me.



First of all, this is the bird that Brennden found in our backyard and decided to bring to me. I was so grossed out that I made the kids come in and take a bath. I even wanted to shower even though I never touched it.



Charity has finally decided to love getting her teeth brushed now instead of thinking it is the end of the world. I am constantly finding her in the bathroom brushing her teeth which is tons better than the playing in the toilet that she used to do.



I let the kids go outside everyday and decided to actually go out with them. They think it is the greatest to be able to play in the water. I bought them bubbles which they played with for a whole two minutes before they lost interest. Go figure.



I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of a tree this is. My kids keep trying to eat the berries off and I don't want them to get sick. It would be a relief to know that it's okay to eat.



Brennden has been so full of fun things to say. He told me the other day, "When baby Dalin is born, I am going to teach him lots of stupid things." I already knew that, but I didn't expect him to tell me he would.









Completely unrelated, I am watching a neighbor try to catch a bird that he just ran over with his ride on lawn mower. We have TONS of birds that are not afraid of us. We also have bunnies. Brennden keeps asking if he can go pet the Easter Bunny. When I was a kid I always pictured the Easter Bunny as a giant puppet type bunny not an actual bunny.

Feeling Accomplished

So far today I have made all the beds, everyone is dressed AND has their teeth brushed, the garbage got out to the curb, dishes are washed, sheets are folded and put away, the washer and dryer are both going, and I fixed by pants and hemmed the curtains. I feel like I am actually getting things done today. Now fro the but. Charity colored all over her arms and her place mat with a pen and Brennden has a million pieces of cut up paper all over the floor. I did let Charity have the pen and Brennden have the scissors, I just didn't realize how big of a mess they would make. Should have known though, they are my children after all. All well, It could be worse.

On another note.... My seedlings got washed away with all the rain so I will need to just get my pots ready and hope that it isn't too late to start my seeds again. 3 of my 4 raspberry bushes survived the move and at least 1 will actually produce this year! Yea! Now just to find some netting so the millions of birds we have won't eat them all. All the strawberries that I thought had died in the snow right before we moved are starting to make a come back. I have 9 that are growing with a few more looking like they are trying to make it.

Brennden knocked all the roses off of the rose bushes out front. He told be they weren't strong enough. Argh. But at least I was able to get the front yard looking presentable while he made a mess of something.

We have a family of rabbits that live in our backyard. Brennden keeps asking if he can go pet the Easter Bunny. It's so cute. Charity can't stop watching the birds fly.

Well, peaceful time is over. Both kids are crying and I have a mess to clean up so I had better get going.

Such a Spaz

Today I about gave myself a heart attack. Probably my sister too. Since we live in tornado alley now we bought an alarm to warn us of tornado warnings in our area. Today it went off to indicate severe thunder storms but I thought is was a tornado warning. I was talking to my sister Ashley when it went off and I freaked out. I told Ashely I had to go and hung up, went to the alarm and pushed the button to hear what it had to say. It was then that I realized that I was being a spaz. I felt like such a dork. I called my sister back to let her know that everything was fine and I was freaking out for no reason. We did have 15 tornadoes happen all around us but none hit us. At least next time I won't freak out but I am prepared for it if it does happen.
