A Day of Sin

While talking with a man about a place that we want to buy, our little man was wandering about the office. When he returned he had a mug of coffee in his hands that he was drinking out of, which he wished to share with us. Luckily the lady had set it down and forgot about it before drinking out of it, but still....... It was coffee. He got in trouble for drinking out of a cup that wasn't his without asking first. Hopefully that will be his only taste of coffee.
Later that same day we went to McDonald's to let him play in the play place. He was running around in a group of kids when we noticed that he had something in his hands. Dustin called Brennden over to show us what he had (we were hoping it wasn't food that he had chanced upon while in the play area). He was running around with money in his hand! We don't know where he got it from, hopefully off the ground and not from someone's hand or hanging out of a pocket.
Overall, I guess we have now entered the stage were we need to teach Brennden that we don't share everything. Some things belong to other people that we don't touch without asking and getting permission to do so.

Things I've Learned

I've learned....

-That life is like a
roll of toilet paper....
The closer it gets
to the end, the
faster it goes.

-That we should be
glad God doesn't
give us everything
we ask for.

-That money DOES NOT
buy class!!

-That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

-That under everyone's
hard shell is someone
who wants to be
appreciated
and loved.

-That the Lord didn't
do it all in one day
What makes me
think I can?

-That to ignore the
facts does not
change the facts.

-That the less time
I have to work,
the more things
I get done.

Clocks

The clock in the living room.

The clock in the kitchen.

Brennded came up to me and grabbed my hand, dragged me into the kitchen, points and asks, "Mommy, what is that?"
"It's a clock." I tell him.
He then proceeds to drag me into the living room, points and says,
"Mom, it's a clock."
"You're right!"
"Mom, it's a clock!"
"Yep, you are so smart little man."
I was very impressed that he realized that they were the same thing even though they are two different shapes.

Finally

I was a bachelor for four days this week and am finally reunited with my beautiful wife minus a few parts (she got her braces off). Isnt it nice when you get to be together as a family instead of a phone call?

Sleep Stander

Last night I went to get some food out of the kitchen and found somebody sleep standing. Im not sure why but he did it for about 5 minutes before he woke up and then did it again after I took him to the bathroom in the morning. I thought it was pretty funny but Angie didnt want to wake up to see.
