Melt Down

When Charity was born the hospital gave us some soothe binkies. Charity hated them. We still have one so I sanitized it and gave it to Dalin. Big mistake. Charity had a melt down. She kicked, hit, and screamed. So I spanked her hand and sent her to her room. This was at 3:30. There she cried herself to sleep and didn't wake till 6:30 the next morning! Think she was tired? But she never mentioned the binki the next time she saw Dalin with it.

A 2 Year Old's Conversation

I had a funny conversation with Charity the other day. It went like this...

Mom: Come here, you need a diaper change. (I then grab her and put her on the changing table)
Charity: Tootles! Tootles!
Mom: I don't think Tootles is here.
Charity: Where did he go?
Mom: I think he went home.
Charity: Wahh. Wahh. (she actually says wahh instead of crying when she fakes it)
Mom: What's wrong.
Charity: I'm crying.
Mom: Why?
Charity: Because I'm sad.

She is so silly.

Trick or Treat

For some reason, Brennden wanted to be Fatman (Batman) for Halloween this year. We don't own a Batman movie, nor has he seen any Batman cartoons. He got the idea from a puzzle that we have. He hasn't played with that puzzle only a handful of times, but apparently it stuck with him.



Since Charity loves butterflies, we thought we would let her be a Butterfly/Fairy. She loved it.



I had to take a photo of Dalin and I. I don't have many. Most of the time it is Dalin and Dustin since I'm the one taking the pic. Can you tell I'm tired?



Dalin had fun too. He just sat in the carrier and watched all the action. Charity made it up the street and back before Dustin took her home. And Brennden, Dalin, and I went down one more street. It felt like we didn't get a lot of candy this year. Only 1 in 4 houses had any. I guess I got used to St George where you go down two streets and the bucket is overflowing. But that's okay since we know who is going to really eat most of the candy. Dustin and I don't need any more junk food.
