The Big 6 Months!

I can't believe Daliln is already 6 months old. Where did the time go? It seems like every day he masters a new skill. Here are a few pics of what he's been up to.

He loves to be held.

Sitting up is much better than lying down.

Food is delicious! If only he'd let mom feed him.

Dalin is never on his back. In fact, he pushes himself around with his toes.

Dalin needs two naps but is trying to take only one a day. It's funny to watch him try to stay awake. His eyes will close for a second and then he pops them wide open and starts shaking his head side to side. Today I was making mac'n cheese and feeding him at the same time. I added milk and stirred, turned to give him another bite, and found him like this.

Miss Priss

Anyone who knows Charity knows that she has a personality all her own. She is stubborn as can be and everything revolves around HER schedule. She already slams her door and yells at you to stay out. She picks out all her clothes, usually a dress even in -12 degrees! She even changes her outfit a couple of times a day.

She now has a new must. Her nails must always be painted. Right when she wakes up she demands that her nails are painted because if they aren't then they are broken. She will literally flail around screaming if you don't do it right away. Grandma and Grandpa Farnsworth can testify of her crying. She will do it just for attention and puts on a good show too. We have learned to tune her out and we eventually stops.

She is starting to acquire another must now. And this one shocked me. When she gets up she must do her nails, put on a dress, and now says, "Do my beautiful hair." This coming from the girl whose hair is always a mess because she hates me doing it. Even when I do manage to do something with it it usually looks like I did it the day before and let her sleep on it because she refuses to hold still for me.

Have I mentioned that she already does her makeup in the mornings too? That's right. And if I don't get my hair done, my makeup on, and pretties put on she lets me know that I need to go get it done. She is going to be one handful when she reaches her teens. I just hope we survive it.
