Poor Squirrel

On the way home from Relief Society Conference tonight Brennden says, "Mom, you ran over that squirrel. He was my buddy. Why didn't you stop?" I have no idea if I really hit a squirrel but I was surprised by his comment. Buddy? Okay then. I hope is buddy is happy in heaven. I told Brennden that I didn't see him because he is so small and that is why he needs to hold my hand in the street. His response, "You should just look lower." Leave it to Brennden to come up with something like that.
